Husbandry

Cookie & Tracking Policy

Effective date: September 8, 2026

This page describes the browser storage and tracking technologies identified in the Husbandry storefront code. It does not describe technologies used by a separate checkout page after you leave this site.

Essential technologies

Account and storefront functions may use the storage and session mechanisms required by the application, authentication service, and platform checkout flow. Their exact retention is controlled by those services and may vary by browser/session. These functions are used to provide requested site features and are not used for advertising.

Optional analytics

If the PostHog analytics environment is configured, optional analytics is blocked unless you choose “Accept analytics.” With consent, PostHog uses cookies and local storage to recognize a browser, measure page and product interactions, and associate permitted campaign parameters with the checkout link. PostHog controls the retention of its analytics data.

The storefront saves your selection in local storage under husbandry_analytics_choice so it can remember your choice. Campaign parameters are stored in session storage only after analytics is accepted. You can reopen or change your choice on Privacy Choices.

Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the storefront keeps optional analytics off. We do not use advertising pixels, session-replay tooling, or third-party embeds on the public storefront.
